1982
Alan started as a sole trader, working on most agricultural and construction equipment. Beginning in his mini van and putting in long hours, the business grew from there.
1992
National Site Services then became the name. On a much larger scale, the company began running HIAB and low-loader lorries all over the country, while still operating service vans on the road to cover all mechanical on-site repairs.
2017
Turner Site Services was born as a new name in the construction industry. We now employ over 20 staff and operate around 200 machines, along with six lorries including HIABs and low-loaders. Our service vans cover the whole of the UK, supported by a dedicated workshop for steel fabrication and mechanical repairs. We pride ourselves on delivering first-class service at an affordable price. Working with many well-established and recognisable businesses, we are certainly making our mark.
These old photos show my sister Amy enjoying the dirtier side of the industry from a young age! Now she’s running the office in a much cleaner environment.
